“Chris, drummer and singer, plays a vital role in lyrical and instrumental arrangements.”
Chris, the youngest of the four brothers, is the drummer as well as a vocalist for the group. He was born on September 24, 1982 and grew up in Crescent City, FL. He began playing the drums at the age of 8 years old at a church where his father was appointed pastor. In 1999, he gave his life to Lord and decided to focus his talents and gifts toward the building of the Kingdom of God.
He stands as a living testimony of the healing power of God. At the tender age of two years old, his body was stricken. After his mother was told by one of the church mothers, “close his eyes, he’s gone,” she and his father (Pastor Emanuiel Roberts) took him to the local doctor. As he examined the child, he began to shake his head in confusion. He proclaimed, “I’ve never seen a two year old have a stroke.” As he proceeded to call the pediatric department at the nearest Trauma Center, his parents called on Jesus. Before the doctor returned in the room, God had healed Chris of the condition.
Chris is now married to his devoted wife, Aaronda Roberts and has children of his own (Emonie Willis, Christopher Roberts Jr.,) proving that there is nothing too hard for God. He serves as one of the Youth leaders in his home church, Walker Chapel Church of God By Faith Inc. Chris serves as lead singer for some of the groups songs and sometimes he even writes a few. Most importantly, he has been mandated and empowered to be God’s Example.
